Machine Description
The Nylon Unfolding and Folding Machine, also known as the Bag Unfolding and Folding Machine or the Plastic Film Reverse Folding Machine, is a high-efficiency industrial solution that operates roll-to-roll. This machine unfolds double-layer printed plastic bags and folds them back neatly in reverse. It is an ideal solution especially when the surface orientation of the nylon needs to be reversed after printing processes.
The machine is compatible with LDPE, HDPE, and similar plastic film types. It is designed to reverse the print surface, meaning to turn plastic bags printed on the outside to face inward.
Optional Unwinder & Rewinder Module for More Flexibility
With the optionally integrated Unwinder & Rewinder Unit, the machine can also be used solely for unfolding operations in addition to folding. This feature allows the machine to serve as both a nylon unfolding and a reverse folding line, offering dual-purpose functionality.
Machine Specifications
Equipped with a magnetic brake and load-cell support, the unwinder operates with a PID-controlled tension system.
Film tension is continuously monitored and stabilized, preventing material tears and winding errors.
Film edges are precisely detected using an ultrasonic fork sensor.
Thanks to the PID-controlled edge guiding module, winding accuracy and overall product quality are significantly improved.
Reducer-supported banana rollers play a critical role in ensuring smooth film unwinding and preventing wrinkles.
It allows precise control of the film’s unfolding and folding angle.
Main rollers controlled by an AC drive enable adjustable production speed and product sizing.
When the film runs out, the end-of-material sensor is activated and automatically stops the system.
It ensures operational safety and saves time.
During machine start/stop operations and emergency situations, visual alerts (warning lights) and audible alerts (buzzer) are activated.
This helps prevent operator errors and ensures a safe working environment.
Production outputs are recorded on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
This facilitates cost tracking, performance evaluation, and efficiency analysis for the operation.
- Rewinder, powered by a torque-controlled motor driver and supported by a load cell, ensures smooth and accurate winding at the desired tension.
- Tension imbalances that may occur during winding are automatically compensated to maintain stability.
