Our Plastic Film Unfolding Machine (Plastic Bag Open Machine) is a compact and efficient solution designed especially for producing oversized single-layer plastic films.
When your extruder width is not sufficient, there’s no need to invest in an expensive new extruder. This machine opens double-layer film into a single layer, effectively doubling the usable width (e.g., 1.5 m → 3 m).
It handles the film unfolding and rewinding process automatically with high precision, ensuring balance, speed, and quality in production.
This system serves as an intermediate, cost-effective solution and can be easily integrated into Bag-on-Roll production lines to meet flexible manufacturing needs.
Bag Unfolding Machine Specifications
Equipped with a magnetic brake and load-cell support, the unwinder operates with a PID-controlled tension system.
Film tension is continuously monitored and stabilized, preventing material tears and winding errors.
Film edges are precisely detected using an ultrasonic fork sensor.
Thanks to the PID-controlled edge guiding module, winding accuracy and overall product quality are significantly improved.
Reducer-supported banana rollers play a critical role in ensuring smooth film unwinding and preventing wrinkles.
Main rollers controlled by an AC drive enable adjustable production speed and product sizing.
When the film runs out, the end-of-material sensor is activated and automatically stops the system.
